Windows at Richardson-Olmsted Found Smashed Monday Morning

An act of vandalism at Easton Public Schools was reported to Easton PD Monday morning

received a call Monday morning at approximately 6:30 a.m. regarding vandalism at the and on Lothrop Street. Officers arrived to find two large classroom windows had been smashed the previous evening.

An hour later, police responded to a call regarding a vandalism incident down the street where Easton Public Schools buses were parked on Columbus Avenue near Three school bus windows had been smashed the previous evening.

Police are investigating both incidents.

Attempted Breaking and Entering Reported at PC Guys

Easton Police received a call at approximately 12:20 a.m. Monday morning regarding an attempted breaking and entering at PC Guys on Roache Brothers way, which set off alarms.

The keyholder arrived but was unable to gain entry at the time. The matter is under investigation.

Two Vehicle Break-ins on Kingsley Road

Officers responded to Kingsley Road at approximately 7:45 p.m. Sunday regarding a breaking and entering into a vehicle. A neighbor arrived and said his vehicle was also broken into. The matter is under investigation.

False Alarm at Doyles Wednesday

Police and Fire Officials responded to Wednesday at approximately 7:30 p.m. for a reported fire in the offices above the restaurant.

Fire officials had the restaurant evacuated as smoke appeared to be coming from the office entrance. Employees were unable to contact the owner.

Officials found no evidence of a fire and fire officials requested a wire inspector respond.
