Winter's Melody of Love

Winter's Melody of Love

In twilight's hush on snowy eaves,

A rabbit strums with tender ease,

His rose scarf bright against the white,

A violin's soft, warming light.

A squirrel in blue, with trumpet's sound,

Brings joy that dances all around,

While porcupine in red hat stands,

French horn in paws, his music lands.

The robin dons her blue-stitched boots,

Chirps melodies in gentle flutes,

Above, the holly sparkles bright,

Embracing winter's silent night.

Behind the door, Maria hides,

Her lonely heart where sorrow bides,

But carolers with songs so sweet,

Wrap her in love's enduring beat.

"If I fell in love with you," they sing,

Promises of hope they bring,

Her shy heart lifts, begins to see,

A future filled with harmony.

Snowflakes dance on quiet streets,

As music and warm hearts now meet,

In winter's embrace, love takes its part,

Healing slowly Maria's heart.
