Wires Down Cause Road Hazard Wednesday

responded Wednesday at approximately 3:15 p.m. to a call regarding wires down in the area of 166 Rockland Street. The caller said the wires were causing a road hazard.

Upon arrival, officials found wires hanging very loa across the road. Verizon was notified and a technician responded.

Two fire engines responded to a call Tuesday night at approximately 10:45 p.m. regarding smoke in the area of 166 Rockland Street. Crews checked the area and found nothing.

Motor Vehicle Accident at Prospect and Howard

Crews responded to an accident at Prospect Street and Howard Street Tuesday at approximately 1:10 p.m. Patients were checked and no transport was required.

Oil Leak at Brentwood Drive

Easton Fire Officials responded to a call regarding oil leaking from a tank on Brentwood Drive Monday Morning at approximately 11:16 a.m.

Upon arrival, crews found oil leaking from a 275 gallon tank. Officials plugged the leak and stood by while Campello Keith oil company responded to pump the tank.
