Woman Caught Shoplifting at Hannaford Supermarket
A woman was stopped on Route 106 after allegedly stealing $200 worth of seafood from the supermarket.

An Assonet woman was charged for allegedly stealing $200 worth of food from Tuesday afternoon.
Kelly Trudeau, 34, of 11 Water St., Assonet was charged after officer Adam Kwan conducted an interview with Trudeau and the witness from Hannaford. She was not arrested but she will be summonsed into the Taunton District Court to face criminal charges, Lieutenant Gary Sullivan said.
Police originally received a call from a witness at the grocery store who said Trudeau fled in a red Dodge Caravan, heading east down Route 106. The vehicle was stopped on Foundry Street by Sgt. Keith Nunes who happened to be working a traffic detail at the Five Corners intersection.
