Millwall F.C. Owner, MA Businessman ID'd As Fatal Cape Cod Crash Victim
Wellesley businessman John Berylson, who also owns Millwall F.C., died in a single-car crash on July 4 on Cape Cod, Falmouth police said.
FALMOUTH, MA — A Wellesley businessman was identified as the victim in a fatal single-car crash on Cape Cod on July 4.
John Berylson, 70, was a businessman who resided in Wellesley, and was also the owner of the Millwall F.C., an English soccer club.

At approximately 7:58 a.m., The Falmouth Police and Falmouth Fire Rescue Departments responded to the report of a motor vehicle crash in the area of 120 Sippewissett Rd.
Upon arrival, officials found an SUV overturned resting against a tree. The 70-year-old male driver, and sole occupant, was trapped inside the vehicle and was extricated "by mechanical means," officials said.

Police said the man was pronounced dead on the scene.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the vehicle, a 2019 Ranger Rover, was traveling south on Sippewissett Road when it lost control on a curve and left the roadway. The vehicle rolled over into a ravine and came to rest against a tree.
The crash is being investigated by the Falmouth Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
