UPDATE: Victim In Fatal Moped Crash ID'd As Falmouth Woman
Christina Laurie, 80, of Falmouth died after her moped and an SUV were in a wreck on West Falmouth Highway, police said.
FALMOUTH, MA — The Falmouth Police Department identified Christina Laurie, 80, of Falmouth, as the driver who died when her moped was involved in a crash with an SUV.
Police and fire officials responded to a crash scene at the intersection of West Falmouth Highway and Chapoquoit Road on Wednesday at 4:08 p.m.
Officials said Laurie sustained fatal injuries during the crash.

The operator of the SUV, who remained on scene and is cooperating fully with the investigation, police said, has been identified as Jane Liberfarb, 68, of Newton.
Falmouth police and the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis & Reconstruction Section are investigating the accident.

The road was closed for some time on Wednesday between Brick Kiln Road and Old Dock Road, but has since reopened.
