30-Year-Old Mashpee Woman Killed In Falmouth Homicide, 1 Injured
Two people, who police believe were in a relationship, were found seriously injured at a motel in Falmouth.
FALMOUTH, MA — A 30-year-old woman was killed in an apparent homicide at a Falmouth motel Monday night, according to authorities.
The Cape and Islands District Attorney's Office identified the woman as Danielle Taylor, of Mashpee.
Just before 7 p.m., Falmouth police were called to Cape Wind Waterfront Resort for a well-being check after receiving a call from friends. According to authorities Taylor and the man she was with had previously been in a relationship.

Police found the couple, and Taylor was taken to Falmouth Hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. The other person was airlifted to Rhode Island Hospital in Providence with serious injuries. Officials have not released the man's identity.
