2 Indicted On Murder Charges In June Falmouth Stabbing

Two men face murder charges in the stabbing death of 19-year-old Milteer Hendricks in Falmouth.

FALMOUTH, MA — Two people face murder charges in the stabbing death of a Falmouth 19-year-old in June, the Cape and Islands District Attorney announced Wednesday.

Armando Gomes, 24, and Adrian Black, 22, both of Taunton, were indicted by a grand jury for their roles in the homicide of Milteer Hendricks on June 10 in Falmouth.

Just before 4:45 p.m. on June 10, the Falmouth Police Department received a 911 call reporting a possible stabbing victim and requested an ambulance to the Grove Apartment Complex.

Officers found Hendricks, then 19, bleeding from the chest with apparent stab wounds. Hendricks was transported to Falmouth Hospital by Mashpee Fire/Rescue and later med-flown to Brigham and Women’s Hospital in critical condition. He later died in surgery.

The investigation found that, at 4:44 p.m., a gray BMW pulled into the back parking lot of the apartment complex. Gomes was the driver of that vehicle which held a total of 5 individuals, including Black, officials said.

The group exited the BMW and an argument ensued between the men from the BMW and Hendricks and his companions, officials said.

After the argument turned physical, Hendricks was stabbed twice, officials said. After Hendricks was stabbed, the men got back in the BMW and fled the scene, officials said.
