3 Hurt After Being Hit By Car In Falmouth

Three pedestrians were struck on Teaticket Highway Tuesday night.

FALMOUTH, MA – Three pedestrians were injured Tuesday night after getting hit by a car in Falmouth. Two men and a woman in their early 20s were hit as they walked east down Teaticket Highway, police said.

The crash occurred shortly after 11 p.m. Tuesday night. The three were struck by a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer as they walked along the side of the road. The driver, a 26-year-old man from East Falmouth, remained at the scene.

He was uninjured.

The woman, 22, was unconscious and suffering from serious injuries when police arrived. She was med-flighted to a trauma center in Rhode Island.

One of the men, also 22, sustained serious injuries and was transported to Falmouth Hospital. The third man, 21, suffered minor injuries.

All three are residents are East Falmouth.
