5 Things You Need to Know Today, 12/24

1) The will allow borrowers to trade food for fines this holiday season. Between now and January 15, patrons can pay their overdue fines with non-perishable food items. Donation baskets will be placed in the lobby and children's room of the main library on Main Street. The East Falmouth and North Falmouth branches will also be accepting non-perishable food items as payment. All donations will be given to the Falmouth Service Center.

2) Speaking of libraries, all branches of the will be closed today through Monday for the holidays and for a staff furlough day. Hope you've got enough reading material to get you to Tuesday!
