1) Today will be partly sunny, then becoming sunny during the afternoon, with a high near 63. Tonight will be partly cloudy, with a low around 39. 

2) Falmouth author Terri Arthur will discuss “The Life of World War One Nurse Edith Cavell” tonight at 6:30pm at the . Cavell was a British nurse who risked and ultimately gave her own life to save the lives of over 1,000 Allied soldiers from the Germans. When she was caught, tried and executed, her death helped to bring the United States into the conflict. Tickets are $5 for non-members and $4 for members, and can be purchased at the door. Reservations are not required.

3) The Woods Hole Film Festival's Dinner and a Movie Winter Film Series continues in the Waterfront Dining Room at the tonight. The series will a selection of short films. For $25 per person, select from a preset menu. The price includes entree and movie, but does not include beverage, dessert, tax or tip. Dinner is served from 5:30pm and the screening begins at 7:30pm. Reservations are required. 4) It's Friday... how about some live music? The great Allman Brothers tribute band the Peacheaters will perform tonight at after 9:30pm. The cover charge is $5.
