2) "Happy to Bug You" is an interactive, two-part show about the frenetic insect world presented by Adam Lazarus for children of all ages. It will be held this morning from 10am-noon at the . While all ages are welcome, the information in "Happy to Bug You" is geared toward ages 8-13. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Seating is limited. Sponsored by the Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL) Associates, the event is free, and no registration is required.
3) A free talk, "Birds of Cape Cod and Beyond," will take place this evening at 7:30pm at . E. Vernon Laux, long-time newspaper columnist, author, tour guide, radio commentator, and bird watcher extraordinaire, will present a talk and slide show that draw on his extensive bird watching experience to show us birds both familiar and unusual. Vern has watched birds all over the world: the tropics, Antarctica, and Martha’s Vineyard, where he discovered the famous Red-footed Falcon several summers ago.

4) A comedy show to benefit the Mackie family, who lost their home in a fire recently, will take place tonight at 8pm at the . The event will feature Dave Russo, Wayne Soares and Pete Costello. Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door.
