A chair yoga class for seniors and more for April 4.

1) Today will be mostly sunny, with a high near 57. Tonight will be clear, with a low around 37. 

2) Yoga is a gentle, relaxing and meditative practice which is centuries old. Elizabeth Davies, MA, CNA, has been practicing yoga over 40 years. She developed her idea of chair yoga during her years pursuing a Master's in holistic counseling, and will be conducting a class at the on Wednesdays from 11-noon. 3) Crane Appliance Sound and Vision will host the next Falmouth Young Professionals After Hours Networking Event today at 249 Teaticket Highway from 5:30–7:30pm. 4) Dr. Dana Mohler-Faria will speak about the Cape Verdean experience in the Civil War at the tonight at 7pm. Dr. Mohler-Faria will speak about the challenges faced by free Cape Verdeans who began to immigrate to this country in the pre-Civil War era. This is a "What’s Falmouth Reading" event supporting the 2012 town-wide read Seen the Glory: a Novel of the Battle of Gettysburg by John Hough Jr.  

5) This day in history: writer Maya Angelou is born (1928); NATO is established (1949); and the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. is assassinated (1968).
