5 Things You Need to Know Today, 5/25

1) Today we'll have a chance of showers and thunderstorms before 10am, then a slight chance of showers after 2pm. Otherwise, it will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 64. Tonight we'll have a chance of showers and fog. It will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 59. 

2) will hold a plant sale today from 9am 'til dusk. The sale will feature annuals, perennials, vegetable plants, grasses, hanging baskets, and luncheon treats.

3) The Memorial Day weekend local food buffet and ice cream stand at opens today! The buffet under the Pavilion will feature local foods; a menu and more information is posted on coonamessettfarm.com. The buffet will also include the option to visit the farm gardens and greenhouses, access usually reserved for supporting members of the farm or day pass holders.

4) Get your holiday weekend started off right with some live music at tonight. Danny Quinn, a performer of Irish and American folk music, will play starting at 8:30pm.
