1) Today we'll have a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms, which could produce heavy rain. The high will be near 70. Tonight we'll have a chance of thunderstorms. It will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 63. 

2) The 2012 golf season of the Ladies' 18-Hole League at will run each Tuesday from now to September 25. The League welcomes all women with a current GHIN handicap index of 36.3 or less. The handicap is to be kept current throughout the season. Women are asked to be at the clubhouse between 8 and 8:30, and be ready to tee off by at least 8:50. Please first pay $3 at the League desk for the day's winnings, and then pay at the Club register. The fee to join the League is $20 per year; golf carts are required at $12 per person.
