5 Things You Need to Know Today, 7/10

Check out some great art, while the kids make some of their own.

1) Sunny again today, with temperatures in the high 70s, possibly touching 80 in the early afternoon. Clear overnight, with temperatures in the mid 60s.

2) The begins today, at the . The program will teach kids aged seven to nine how to produce various arts and crafts from natural objects. Among other projects, kids will be constructing tiny houses and furnishings for fairies, gnomes, and elves, and get a chance to see their creations displayed at the center. The camp runs today, tomorrow, and Thursday, between 2 and 4 p.m., and participation is $60. 4) hosts a new exhibit, , featuring the work of Louise Luckenbill. Stop by FCTV between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. to check out the unique perspective the retired biology professor and researcher brings to nature painting. The show is free, but all works are up for sale.
