• Crash Of Motorcycle, Vehicle Sends Injured Rider To Off-Cape Trauma Center: Report (patch.com) — A serious crash between a motorcycle and another vehicle on Woods Hole Road in Falmouth sent the injured rider first to Falmouth Hospital, then by MedFlight to an off-Cape trauma center. Falmouth police are investigating the cause of Monday’s collision, and details on the rider’s condition and the other vehicle remain limited.    

• Road Work Means Delays and Detours In Falmouth This Week (patch.com) — Drivers in Falmouth face delays and detours on Sandwich Road this week as contractors pave the stretch between Brick Kiln Road and Teaticket Highway following a water main project. Local residents, school buses, and emergency vehicles will still have access, while commercial trucks are routed along a specific detour using nearby major roads.    

• Police seek suspect accused of breaking into Falmouth home, assaulting resident (wcvb.com) — A resident was assaulted during a Memorial Day break-in at a home in Falmouth’s Ashumet Valley neighborhood, and police are still searching for the suspect. Officers describe the man as a stocky white male in his mid-20s to 30s wearing blue clothing with an emblem, and they’re urging neighbors to lock doors and windows, use outdoor lighting, and report anything suspicious immediately.
