FALMOUTH, MA — A Massachusetts-based banking chain has opened a full-service branch on Cape Cod.
Leader Bank opened at 177 Main St., the business announced on Monday. The bank marked the opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring former U.S. Rep. Joseph P. Kennedy III, tours of the new branch and a reception for clients, community leaders and Cape Cod residents.
The branch offers personal banking, business deposit accounts and commercial financing
"As Leader Bank continues to grow across Massachusetts and beyond, we remain focused on building meaningful relationships in the communities we serve," Leader Bank President Jay Tuli said. "We are excited to bring our personalized approach to banking to Falmouth and look forward to supporting local families, businesses and organizations across Cape Cod for years to come."
Leader Bank said it was Falmouth's top residential mortgage lender in 2025 and 2026.
The bank has also formed partnerships with local organizations and initiatives, including the Falmouth YMCA and Falmouth Housing Trust.
Leader Bank operates 20 locations, including loan offices and branches, across New England. The Falmouth is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
The company also has plans to launch two more Massachusetts branches in Andover and Boston's Seaport neighborhood.
