โข ART! 11th Annual 'Sail into Imagination', Steamship Authority Student Winners (rinewstoday.com) โ Several Morse Pond School sixth-graders from Falmouth are among the winners of the Steamship Authority's 11th annual "Sail into Imagination" art contest, with their sea-themed work headed for a 2027 calendar and ferry displays. Local families can later pick up limited-edition calendars at Steamship Authority terminals and see Falmouth students' artwork showcased alongside other Cape and Islands winners.

โข 'He had a lot of dreams': Family mourns Vernon youth who died while paddleboarding in Cape Cod pond (ctpost.com) โ Emergency crews responded to Jenkins Pond in Falmouth on August 31 after 18-year-old Abdullah Naveed of Vernon fell from a paddleboard and was later pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. State Police and the Cape and Islands District Attorney's Office are still investigating, while his grieving family remembers his ambitions and the outpouring of support they've received.
