Apply for VIPS Student Volunteerism Scholarships
Applications are due by April 10, so get started today!

Falmouth Volunteers In Public Schools (VIPS) is pleased to announce the availability of two $1,000 scholarships for eligible juniors and seniors who value and have exhibited volunteerism and community service throughout their high school careers.
Current FHS juniors and seniors who have volunteered at least 100 hours are eligible. Documentation of the volunteer and/or community service hours is required. The application form is available in the FHS guidance office and can be downloaded from the VIPS website at falmouthvips.org.
This year’s scholarships are made possible through the generosity of the VIPS Board of Advisors. The 2012 scholarship recipients will be announced at the annual VIPS Recognition Dinner on Tuesday, May 1, at the .

To apply for the 2012 Student Volunteerism Scholarship, students must complete a brief application form, provide a log or record of their volunteer hours, submit a letter from an adult sponsor/advisor/supervisor describing the student’s volunteer contributions, and write an essay describing what the student’s volunteer experience has meant to them and how volunteering as a high school student will impact his/her life. Applications and required materials are due to Patricia Malone, FHS Scholarship Coordinator, by April 10, 2012. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
