Art Center Fundraiser 'Out Of The Box' On View Through Nov. 15

More than 50 boxes of all sizes, shapes and materials, made by local artists, will be on display and on sale at the Falmouth Art Center for the next two weeks.

The show is the Out of the Box! Fall Fundraiser and is on display until November 15.

All boxes are priced at $100 and sales benefit the Falmouth Art Center’s scholarship fund.

The boxes range in style from traditional Cape Cod to political and even dark humor. Materials used include glass, pottery, fibers, shells and wood. Artists participating are from Falmouth and the surrounding towns.

The opening reception for the Out of the Box! Show as well as two other November art shows is Friday, November 5, from 4 to 6 PM. All are welcome to the reception.

The Falmouth Art Center is at 137 Gifford Street in Falmouth.
