Ban On Outdoor Fires In Falmouth
This comes as communities continue to monitor conditions after fires have popped up throughout Massachusetts.
FALMOUTH, MA — The Falmouth Fire/Rescue Department announced a ban on outdoor fires "until further notice" amid risky conditions.
"With no change in the weather anticipated over the next several days, recreational fires and agricultural burning are suspended until further notice due to the continued increase in fire risks," the department said.
This comes as communities across the state have battled fires, even affecting school activities in some communities on the North Shore.

Many communities in Massachusetts have been dealing with drought conditions, though the U.S. Drought Monitor doesn't list Barnstable County as one of the affected regions as of Halloween.
