Betsy's Diner To Stay Open In Falmouth

The vintage diner on Main Street was saved by a family of area restaurant owners.

FALMOUTH, MA – A vintage diner on Main Street that was expected to be torn down will instead remain open. Betsy's Diner closed Jan. 19, and the property was sold to a developer who planned to "start from scratch."

Those plans appear to have changed, as the Keuchkarian family announced Wednesday they have added Betsy's Diner to their slate of restaurants. The family owns The Talk in Watertown and Talk of the Town Diner in North Falmouth and Bourne.

In addition to operating Betsy's Diner, the Keuchkarians plan to open a second location of The Talk in Falmouth in March, according to the restaurant's website.
