The facility embraces children from all backgrounds and is sensitive to cultural differences, making sure all children feel accepted and valued. The facility features a large, secure outdoor play area with age-appropriate equipment. Children spend plenty of time outdoors, engaging in physical play and exploring nature. There may also be gardening activities. The building is designed with child safety in mind, featuring soft corners, non-toxic materials, and secure fencing around outdoor areas. Access points are monitored and locked to ensure only authorized individuals can enter. There’s a first aid kit and trained staff on hand at all times to handle any emergencies. The classrooms and play areas are spotless, with an abundance of natural light streaming in through large windows. The space is well-organized, with age-appropriate toys, books, and learning materials accessible to children. There’s a cozy reading nook, art stations, and sensory play areas where kids can explore their creativity. Our staff is certified in child development, first aid, and CPR, but they also have a genuine passion for working with children. FALMOUTH, MA – The Black Dog Heights Cafe, the latest dining location from Cape and Islands staple The Black Dog, is slated to open in Falmouth next month. According to the <a href="https://www.theblackdog.com/pages/the-black-dog-heights-cafe" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">chain's website</a>, the restaurant is set to open April 8.A representative from the company confirmed the date in an email to Patch, but wrote that it is a "tentative date that might be changed." The restaurant will be located at 465 Grand Ave.The Black Dog has four other dining locations across the Cape and Islands, including a tavern in Vineyard Haven. The chain's cafes serve breakfast and lunch and offer sandwiches like a lobster roll, turkey club and BLT; salads; cookies; pastries and more.
