Boston Bruins Honor Falmouth Police Officer

FALMOUTH, MA — Falmouth police Officer and Air National Guard Sergeant Julia Massi was honored by the Boston Bruins Tuesday night. Massi is a transmission systems technician and served in Iraq in 2010 and Afghanistan in 2013. She has received multiple commendations, including the Army Commendation Medal, Air Force Achievement Medal and more.

Massi was honored as part of the team's "8-Spoked Salute" program in collaboration with the Massachusetts Lottery. The program recognizes local soldiers with complimentary Bruins tickets and a video scoreboard message played during the game. The Bruins beat the Arizona Coyotes Tuesday by a score of 4-1.
