Bourne Bridge Repairs Will Close Sidewalk On Tuesday

BOURNE, MA — Repairs are coming to the Bourne Bridge this week, but no, it won't affect traffic flow or your morning commute. That is, of course, unless you're walking to work.

Lighting repairs are scheduled for Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and will force a closure of the sidewalk on the bridge, the Cape Cod U.S. Army Corps of Engineers announced.

Crews will need to pull new cables along the sidewalk of the bridge, making it necessary to close the sidewalk to foot traffic.

All lanes of traffic will remain open during the work.
