Sea Stars Early Learning Center

Sea Stars Early Learning Center offers a balanced program that incorporates play-based learning, structured lessons, and physical activities.<br />Children are encouraged to explore their interests, whether through music, art, science, or outdoor exploration.<br />There’s a focus on developmental milestones, including fine motor skills, communication, and social interaction.<br />The facility focuses on helping children develop strong social skills through group activities, games, and cooperative learning.<br />There’s an emphasis on emotional intelligence, teaching kids how to manage their feelings and resolve conflicts peacefully.<br />Our amazing helps kids learn to share, collaborate, and support one another, fostering a sense of community.<br />The facility embraces children from all backgrounds and is sensitive to cultural differences, making sure all children feel accepted and valued.<br />The facility features a large, secure outdoor play area with age-appropriate equipment.<br />Children spend plenty of time outdoors, engaging in physical play and exploring nature. There may also be gardening activities.<br />The building is designed with child safety in mind, featuring soft corners, non-toxic materials, and secure fencing around outdoor areas.<br />Access points are monitored and locked to ensure only authorized individuals can enter.<br />There’s a first aid kit and trained staff on hand at all times to handle any emergencies.<br />The classrooms and play areas are spotless, with an abundance of natural light streaming in through large windows.<br />The space is well-organized, with age-appropriate toys, books, and learning materials accessible to children.<br />There’s a cozy reading nook, art stations, and sensory play areas where kids can explore their creativity.<br />Our staff is certified in child development, first aid, and CPR, but they also have a genuine passion for working with children.<br />Melissa Anderson and Leigh-Ellen Ferreira are two Falmouth natives who have spent many years working with children.<br /><br />
