Bourne First Responders Rescue Patrons Of Sinking Boat

BOURNE, MA — Multiple people were rescued from a sinking boat near the Cape Cod Canal, according to local reports.

The Bourne Fire/Rescue and Emergency Services Department confirmed on Facebook that crew from their department responded to the boaters over the weekend.

None of the boaters were injured, according to reports, and the boat remains in the water off the shores of Bourne.

"Strong work by the crew from Shift 2 yesterday," fire department officials said.
