Dec 5th
8:30am – 2pm: Falmouth Garden Club Wreath Sale, &amp; Museum Gift Shop open
10am – 2pm: Museum Open for self-guided and docent led tours, Museum Gift Shop open.The Cultural Center will be open as a warming station during Saturday’s festivities! After you shop for wreaths and explore our gift shop, take a moment to step inside, warm up, and enjoy our exhibition on Falmouth during the Revolution. There are seats and tables available. Open 8:30am – 2pm on Saturday, December 5th – see you then!


Dec 5th is an off-season tour day where we are open to the public and offer docent led tours of the 1790 Wicks House &amp; self-guided tours of our museum exhibits! Be sure to check out the Museum Gift Shop for holiday shopping.

WHAT IS THE TRANSFER TAX ? The Falmouth League of Women Voters will present a forum explaining the transfer tax, November 2, 2026, 6:30 p.m., in the Hermann Room of the main branch of the Falmouth Public Library. Dan Gessen, candidate for Barnstable County Commissioner, State Representative Thomas Moakley, and Laura Moynihan, Executive Director and In-House Counsel for the Falmouth Housing Trust, will participate in a panel discussion exploring the proposed "Transfer Tax ” and its potential impact on affordable housing.&nbsp; 
The program will provide an opportunity to learn more about the proposed transfer tax, hear perspectives from the panelists, and ask questions about how such a measure could affect housing affordability on Cape Cod.

Saramaria Allenby is a Community Chaplain in Falmouth sponsored by Upper Cape Chaplaincy. She has practiced secular spiritual guidance for many years and has shared her talents to help many.&nbsp; She is also a Chaplain at Falmouth Hospital as well as a counselor for Kairos Counseling. Saramaria lives here in Falmouth with her family.

Community members who need help with technology are invited to meet with a Digital Navigator at the East Falmouth Public Library. An FCTV Digital Navigator will offer free, one-on-one assistance weekly on Thursdays 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM.
Digital Navigators help people with a wide range of technology needs, including using computers and the internet, accessing online resources, finding affordable home internet, and applying to jobs.
Anyone who would like help with technology is welcome. Participants should bring their own devices if they would like assistance setting them up or learning how to use them. No appointment necessary. Next meeting is Thursday, November 5 at 6 p.m. Time may adjust slightly with the seasons and setting sun. This club will meet until winter when southern migration starts in earnest. At the November meeting, we will have a presentation by the <a href="https://www.ccmcp.net/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Cape Cod Mosquito Control Project</a>. Learn more about diseases and treatments, and how these two species are connected and affect each other. Drop-ins welcome
Bringing along a portable chair is encouraged (available outdoor seating is limited) and your favorite binoculars. Since we will be meeting inside first, you’re welcome to leave your chair on the back patio while we gather inside.
