Calling all Crafters: Decorate a Tray for Falmouth Art Center

This year, artists and crafters are invited to decorate a wooden tray using any medium. They then bring the tray back to the Art Center for an exhibit
and sale of the trays to benefit the Center.

Until September 30, the Art Center is selling five different sizes of wooden trays for $8 apiece for Falmouth Art Center members and $10 for non-members.

Artists can use any medium to decorate the trays including paints, fiber, clay, collage or decoupage, among other mediums. The trays can be turned into decorative wall hangings or remain as functional trays. Artists can also use their own tray as a base for decoration or make a tray to donate to the exhibit.

The decorated trays are due back to Falmouth Art Center on or before Tuesday, October 25 to be included in the exhibit and sale.

For two weeks, October 28 to November 14, the artist-decorated trays will be for sale for $50 apiece in an exhibit entitled, “Serving Up Art.” Forpicking up a tray to decorate, the Falmouth Art Center located at 137 Gifford Street in Falmouth is free and open to the public daily, Monday
