PATCH POLL: Can Boston Beat the Heat?

Will the Celtics rise to the occasion in tonight's Eastern Conference Finals Game 7?

Coming off a disappointing blowout loss at home in Game 6, the Boston Celtics are taking their talents to South Beach tonight, in an attempt to upset the favored Miami Heat in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals. With a trip to the NBA Finals on the line, and an off-season roster shakeup a real possibility for this aging Celtics squad, can Boston's Big Three of Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen extend their season with a win on the road? To do so, they'll have to overcome their Miami counterparts—Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh, and LeBron James—plus the fact that road teams are 22-88 all time in NBA Game 7s.

But the Celtics took Game 5 at Miami, and the team and fans alike have shown enormous determination to claim another championship before the end of the Big Three era. Can Boston stop the already anointed Heat? Can they prevent James from dropping another 45 points on them, as he did in Game 6? Can Boston earn a trip to Oklahoma City, and send the Heat to another bitterly disappointing summer? When the last whistle blows, who will be moving on?
