Cape Cod Canal Cleanup Scheduled For Earth Day

BOURNE, MA — Earth Day is the biggest day of the year for local to get involved in cleanup activities, and Cape Cod is far from an exception.

One way for locals to get involved is during a Cape Cod Canal cleanup scheduled for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Bourne.

The event is hosted by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and is the 22nd edition of the annual event.

Volunteers are invited to a community gathering at Herring Run Recreation Area afterward.
