Cape Cod Canal Search Underway After Suspected Sagamore Bridge Jump

BOURNE, MA — A search is underway in the Cape Cod Canal after a person is suspected to have jumped off the Sagamore Bridge in Bourne on Friday morning, the Massachusetts State Police said.

The search is headed up by the state police, along with their marine unit, dive team, air wing and the Bourne Police and Fire Departments.

State police have yet to release further information, but said updates will be provided "when available and appropriate."
