Cape Cod Resident Hospitalized After Being Hit By Car
The victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the Sunday crash. An investigation is ongoing.

SANDWICH, MA — One person was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a car over the weekend in Sandwich.
Police responded to the area of 292 Cotuit Rd. around 3:30 p.m. on Sunday. At the scene, officers learned that a 21-year-old Sandwich resident was hit by an SUV while walking.
Police said the victim was walking on the side of the road when the incident took place.

They were transported to Brigham & Women’s Hospital.
The crash is under investigation by the Sandwich Police Crash Reconstruction Team, officials said.
