YARMOUTH, MA — St. Patrick's Day is coming a little early this year on Cape Cod with the return of a beloved celebration.
The annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in Yarmouth is scheduled for Saturday, with the parade stepping off at 11 a.m.
This year's route will lead the procession from the intersection of Route 28 and Long Pond Road down a two-mile stretch of town, parading through downtown Yarmouth to end at Higgins Crowell Road.

For 2024, Yarmouth and the Cape Cod St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee have partnered with Massachusetts-based social media and broadcast production company Sociable! to produce the parade.
Through this, the parade will be broadcast live on Facebook, YouTube and the town's public access channel.

Police noted that road detours will be in place for the parade, which takes roughly two hours from start to finish.
