Cape, Islands DA Launches New Website Hoping To Add Transparency
The new site offers assistance for those impacted by a crime, showcases multiple department initiatives and more, officials said.

Cape and Islands District Attorney Robert Galibois today announced that his office has created and launched a new website engaging the public in the multi-faceted work of the District Attorney’s office, CapeAndIslandsDA.gov
“Transparency and proactive outreach are essential to public service,” said DA Galibois. “That must include a website that is informative, easy to navigate, and interactive. Our new site accomplishes those goals.”

This valuable resource offers public access to information pertaining to every aspect of the Office of the District Attorney’s work, and the criminal justice system. It offers clear guidance for those impacted by crime seeking help and resources. It showcases multiple initiatives, including a Human Trafficking Tip Line, a public records request portal, and information about innovative programs including the newly created “DA and Us” outreach to every town on the Cape and Islands.
It also shares information on job openings in an office that emphasizes diversity, equity, and inclusion.

“This is the first time in the history of the Cape and Islands District Attorney’s office that a standalone, accessible website has been created for the public,” said DA Galibois. “I hope it encourages people to explore our work, learn more about the criminal justice system, and learn more about how we continue to expand community engagement.”
