Boy Drowns In Falmouth
A 4-year-old boy died after being pulled from the water at Cape Cod Campgrounds in Falmouth, authorities said.

FALMOUTH, MA — A 4-year-old boy died after being pulled from the water at Cape Cod Campgrounds in Falmouth Monday afternoon, authorities said. The incident happened shortly before 1 p.m. at the campground, located on Thomas Landers Road. (Sign up for free daily newsletters and breaking news alerts from Falmouth Patch.)
"Crews were informed that a 4 year old child had been removed from the water and CPR was in progress," Falmouth Fire/Rescue said in a statement. "Upon arrival, (fire and rescue) crews took over care of the child. Advanced life support measures were initiated and the child was transported to Falmouth Hospital, where despite all of their efforts, the child was pronounced dead.
"Please keep this young (boy's) family in your thoughts and prayers."
