Coast Guard Rescues Fishing Boat Off Cape Cod

Coast Guard crews on Monday rescued a disabled fishing boat off Cape Cod.
The captain of the Challenger, which had 650 pounds of scallops aboard, called for help when a line wrapped around the propeller about 70 miles southeast of Nantucket.
Coast Guard boats were dispatched and towed the Challenger to New Bedford. No one was hurt.

“Everyone worked very well together to get the crew and the catch back to port safely,” said Coast Guard Officer Brian Richardson in a statement.
