Town officials confirmed two new cases of the new coronavirus in Falmouth Thursday bringing the total positive tests in town up to six.
FALMOUTH, MA — Town officials confirmed two new cases of the new coronavirus in Falmouth Thursday bringing the total positive tests in town up to six.
Town Manager Julian Suso and Health Agent Scott McGann said proper isolation and quaratine protocols are being followed with all cases, but reminded the public that more cases are likely to be confirmed in Falmouth.
"We must assume that there is community spread occurring and will continue to occur as the test positive cases do not include the asymptomatic and or mildly ill indiviudals, Suso and McGann said in a joint statement. "You can help slow the spread of this virus by committing to social distancing and practicing good personal hygiene like handwashing."
