Falmouth Residents Couldn’t Work, Couldn’t stay Around Home. They Got Sick and Sleep-Deprived

Commercial wind turbines called megawatt turbines worldwide people have reported causing sleep disorders, headaches, tinnitus, nausea, irritability, loss of memory and concentration, nervousness, rapid heart rate, blood pressure, weight changes, abnormal heartbeat rhythms, mood problems, fatigue and depression experienced by many people living close to industrial wind turbines. These conditions lower your resistance and immune system ability to fight to lead to cancer and other deadly diseases.

The industrial wind turbine industry would have you believe that since the 1970s millions of people worldwide are a bunch of Hollywood actors who all got together and are just making up these stories.

The Town of Falmouth Massachusetts installed two Vestas V-82 type 1.65 megawatt wind turbines in 2010 and 2012. The town omitted noise warning documents from the public that the turbines generate 110 decibels of noise each totaling 113 decibels. August 3, 2010, prior to construction of the turbines the Town of Falmouth was warned in writing from the manufacturer the turbines were far louder than a KEMA Inc study done for the town in 2005 that showed one General Electric wind turbine could affect 99 residential homes. GE refused to place one turbine.

The result of the Vestas 110 decibel warning was the town was prevented from filing Special Permit 240-166 as stated later in a federal document of the buy American EPA waiver to use ARRA, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds to build the turbines. The permit would have required hearings and notifications to the neighbors.

August 3, 2010, the Vestas noise warning letter and prior email warnings have never been disseminated in the local media but have been seen by the courts and in international publications.

The courts shut down the abandoned Falmouth wind turbines in June of 2017.

It is really fair to compare the torture of Abu Ghraib detainees to that of wind turbine neighbors. Consider that the Iraq detainees were forced to endure sleeplessness for a few days while Falmouth wind turbine victims endured this same deprivation for arbitrary periods of time whenever the wind is blowing, sometimes intermittently for seven years. Often, Falmouth residents' only hope of escape or reprieve from this torment was to flee their homes.

The detainees and prisoners were not forced to lie awake and watch their children suffer the same deprivation.

These type of turbines within 3000 feet of residential homes are violating fundamental human rights. The U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee previously released what has come to be known as the Torture Report. It reveals that sleep deprivation was one of the frequently used CIA “enhanced interrogation” tactics.

The description of the wind turbine impacts as “torture,” is repeated across the world. It is generally accepted that up to 30 percent of persons have a reported and accurate response to ILFN. Large wind turbines have been known since the early 1980s to produce infrasound and low-frequency noise (ILFN) that is intrusive and detrimental to health.

The federal EPA, Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection and Massachusetts Clean Water Trust misused a 5 million dollar American Recovery and Reinvestment Act loan to build the second Falmouth wind turbine called Falmouth Wind II.

The money was taken from the Massachusetts State Revolving Fund, SRF, were it should be returned to other Green Energy projects and not allowed to be used for Falmouth town day to day expenses.

Falmouth Massachusetts still owes the balance of the 5 million ARRA loan plus 2 percent interest as the Falmouth wind turbines are no longer energy efficient since June of 2017
