Vineyard Derby Seeks Sportsman Nominations
Honor the true sportsman (or woman) in your life: Submit a nomination at Derby HQ in Edgartown before the last weigh-in Saturday night.
The Martha's Vineyard Surfcasters Association Sportsmanship Award is one of many that will be given Sunday afternoon at the closing celebration of the 68th annual Striped Bass & Bluefish Derby.
"This nomination is your chance to tell the story about an act or accomplishment by an sportsman or a group of sportsmen in order to recognize the exceptional behavior/accomplishment at the MV Derby Awards Banquet," according to the Derby's Facebook page.
Submit nominations at Derby HQ, foot of Main Street in Edgartown, before 10 p.m. Saturday.
