Update from Falmouth Police Department officials: "East Falmouth Hwy is open to one way alternating traffic while Eversource makes its repairs. Please continue to expect delays and avoid the area if possible."

FALMOUTH, MA — A portion of East Falmouth Highway will be closed after a car crash around 11:45 a.m., police said.

The crash occurred at 996 East Falmouth Highway in the area of All Cape Recycling. A utility pole was hit during the crash, police said.
