UPDATE: East Falmouth Highway Reopened After Crash

Update from Falmouth Police Department officials: "East Falmouth Hwy is open to one way alternating traffic while Eversource makes its repairs. Please continue to expect delays and avoid the area if possible."

FALMOUTH, MA — A portion of East Falmouth Highway will be closed after a car crash around 11:45 a.m., police said.

The crash occurred at 996 East Falmouth Highway in the area of All Cape Recycling. A utility pole was hit during the crash, police said.

The road will be shut down until the scene is cleared and deemed safe, police said. Eversource officials are responding to assess the situation and make repairs.
