East Falmouth Stabbing Victim Dies From Injuries: DA
The man was transported to a Boston-area hospital after he was stabbed on Monday night. He died on Tuesday evening, officials announced.
FALMOUTH, MA — The Falmouth man who was stabbed on Monday evening in East Falmouth has died at a Boston-area hospital, the Cape and Islands District Attorney announced on Wednesday.
The victim was identified as Corey Lowe, 29, of Falmouth.
Falmouth police received word that a person was stabbed at a residence in East Falmouth around 11:30 p.m. on Monday. They arrived to find a person "seriously injured," and an ambulance transported the victim to a Boston-area hospital.

The District Attorney said a trail of blood led authorities from the residence to a parking spot across the highway, where the trail stopped "abruptly."
Authorities don't believe the attack to be "a random event," and not that a "preliminary investigation suggests the public is not in any danger."
