4-H Babysitting Course

The Falmouth Public Library will be offering the 4-H Babysitting Course on Wednesdays, February 29 and March 7, 2012 from 4:15-8:15pm, with a snow date of Wednesday March 14. Classes will be held in the library at 300 Main Street in the Teen Room. 

Topics covered include: child safety, first aid & emergencies, feeding, discipline, stages of development, and entertainment. The course is taught by 4-H Program Associate Mary Nielsen. Students must be 11 years old by February 29, 2012 and proof of age is required. Attendance at both classes is mandatory. A 4-H Babysitting manual is provided. Certificates and I.D. cards will be awarded upon successful completion of the course. Please bring dinner and a drink. Limited to 15 students.
