4-H Babysitting Course

The Falmouth Public Library will be offering the 4-H Babysitting Course on Wednesdays, January 11 and 18, from 4:30pm to 8:30pm with a snow date of Wednesday February 1.  Classes will be held in the library at 300 Main Street in the Bay Room downstairs. 

Topics covered include: child safety, first aid & emergencies, feeding, discipline, stages of development, and entertainment. The course is taught by 4-H Program Associate, Mary Nielsen. Students must be 11 years old by January 11 and proof of age is required. Attendance at both classes is mandatory. A 4-H babysitting manual is provided. Certificates and I.D. cards will be awarded upon successful completion of the course. Please bring dinner and a drink. Limited to 15 students.

The 4-H Babysitting course is FREE thanks to generous support from the Friends of the Falmouth Public Library. However, registration is required.
