The Woods Hole Public Library’s long-awaited annual summer Book Sale begins at 10 in the morning on Saturday, August 11. The whole large meeting room on the lower level will be devoted to the sale: shelves on all walls and tables throughout the room will be covered with books. This is the Library’s biggest sale of the summer, and people always line up at the door in advance of the opening time, hoping for the first crack at the new offering.

The Book Sale Committee says they have “tons of new inventory” for this sale. These books come as both gifts to the Library specifically for the sale and recent discards from the Library’s circulating collection. The new books include an overflow of new fiction, “perfect for beach reading”, as the volunteers say.
After the first day, the Book Sale will be open during regular Library hours.
