The sale is always a popular shopping event with very affordable buys. Most of the hard cover books will be priced at $2 each, paper backs at 50 cents, though special books may be priced higher.
The Book Sale Co-Chair Camilla Larrey says that there are an unprecedented number of newly received fiction books for this sale. Co-chairs Sam Lewis and Sarah Elizabeth are excited about the huge new offering, in addition to many cook books and collectible antique books, which include first editions.
The sale is in the large downstairs meeting room; books will fill shelves all around the room as well as tables throughout the middle of the room. This room is accessed through the lower entrance on the busy first day of the sale. After that, the sale will be open during the Library’s regular open hours which are Mondays 12-5:30, and 7-9 PM; Tuesdays 3-5:30; Wednesdays 10-5:30 and 7-9 PM, Thursdays and Fridays 3-5:30, and Saturdays 12- 5:30.
