Boomer Shabbat: Jewish Shabbat worship set to boomer-era tunes

A Jewish service created entirely of Boomer era folk/rock music, each song thematically-linked to a Jewish prayer - that's Boomer Shabbat at the Falmouth Jewish Congregation. Songs from artists such as Simon and Garfinkle, Cat Stevens, James Taylor and others echo the liturgy, bringing fresh insights into both the secular and religious texts. Led by a band, with full participation by the congregation. All are welcome.  This service will take place in the East End Meeting House. Please park across the street at the FJC Community Center. Limited handicap parking is available at the Meeting House itself. A reception follows.
