Bull Run Readers' Theater

Do you love to read aloud with dramatic flourish?  Are you interested in American history?  If you are age 12 to 112, then come be a part of the Bull Run Readers’ Theater Workshop, offered by The Falmouth Public Library during April School vacation week, April 14- 20, 2012.   

In the book Bull Run, "Northerners, Southerners, generals, couriers, dreaming boys and worried sisters describe the glory, the horror, the thrill, and the disillusionment of the first battle of the Civil War." *

As a reader's theater, actors will read from the text, with emotion, but minimal props and costumes. No experience or memorization is necessary to take part in this workshop, just a desire to bring the past alive with your voice!

Saturday, April 14, 2012   1:30  PM:  Auditions

Tuesday  – Thursday, April 17 – 19, 2012  1:30 – 3:30 PM: Rehearsals

Friday, April 20, 2012 1:30 PM:  Performance

The audition, rehearsals and performance will be held in the Falmouth Public Library, 300 Main Street, in the Hermann Foundation meeting room.
