Cinco de Mayo Street Festival

On Saturday, May 5, 2012, Academy Lane on Main Street, Falmouth will be open to pedestrians only from 1:00 to 6:00 pm to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a Street Festival.

The street will be decorated for the fiesta, Añejo Mexican Bistro and Tequila Bar will provide refreshments, and the Daniel Byrnes Band will perform live. Kevin Matthews of WCOD/106.1 will broadcast live from the event from 3:00 to 6:00 pm. The Festival is free, and all food and drink items on the street will be only $5, in honor of Cinco de Mayo.

“We are excited to partner with the Falmouth Village Association to celebrate Mexican culture right here on Main Street, Falmouth”, said Jesse Kersey, co-owner of Añejo Mexican Bistro.

The event is presented by Añejo Mexican Bistro and Tequila Bar and the Falmouth Village Association, and is sponsored by Espolon Tequila, Corona and Dos Equis.
